Our Sheep

Our Wool is from Our Sheep! We began our journey with sheep in 2003.  It has been a heart warming adventure. We have met so many wonderful people as we have learned about sheep. Our sons showed at the state fair for most of those years and we met even more wonderful people at the fair.

These are some of our sheep. We have enjoyed our sheep journey, but it is work. For those who glamourize farming as a restful, laid back way of life, please be more realistic. It is a 24/7 job, with perks. Lambing is one of those perks.

Our sheep are on pasture. Most of our sheep are Border Leicesters. We have their wool processed into roving for spinners, yarn for knitters and crocheters and we have loose wool for felters. Our wool is soft, luxurious and warm. We dye some of it and leave some natural colored.
